Are you a breastfeeding employee or were you one in the past? Did your employer help make it a easy process for you? Did your employer comply with the "Breaktime for Nursing Mother's Law? Or was your experience difficult? Please share with us your story. We'd love to hear it!
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) requires employers to provide "reasonable break time and a private, non-bathroom place for nursing mothers to express breast milk during the workday."
How will the stories be used?
Submissions will be collected to document how the federal "Break Time for Nursing Mothers" law is helping more mothers to reach their personal breastfeeding goals and to help put pressure on employers and policymakers to maintain this provision. We will also be using these stories to bring awareness to the importance of employers following the law and may use them in social media posts and other forms of communications.
